We are approaching to our most important Dashain festival, a celebration of Goddess Durga’s victory over devil Mahisasur. The editorial board is pleased to bring this fourth issue of Hokudai Bisauni before our respected readers on this auspicious occasion and would like to express its best wishes to all on the occasion of happy Vijaya Dashami 2061. Mutual respect, tolerance and cooperation among people of different religion, culture and tradition made it possible to maintain peace and harmony in Nepal from ancient time. However, at present the country has been suffering with violence. May this Dashain be a new step in bringing peace and prosperity in our beloved country, Nepal.

As in the past, we have tried to include diversified contributions as far as possible. Reports on various activities organized by HUNSA committee have also been incorporated. We hope our respected readers will be able to get useful information from this publication.
